76 job posts mention Golang and are marked remote.
Check each post for location requirements. “Not marked remote” does not confirm onsite work. Different employers and roles can affect the comparison; it does not show a remote-work pay premium.
Matched scale comparison
Each bar shows the middle half of approximate annualized USD estimates of advertised minimums; the marker is the median. Both groups use the same scale. This describes different posts and does not measure a remote-work pay effect.
Original pay evidence
Each panel has a separate scale in the source currency. A band shows its stated lower and upper amounts; a marker shows a minimum with no upper amount. Pay period is not preserved in the listing record. These are historical advertisements, not confirmed current vacancies.
How to read these comparisons
Go is a statically typed, compiled language with a standard toolchain and module system. The official documentation organizes code into packages collected by modules; goroutines and channels provide language-level concurrency tools. Concurrency describes structuring independent work and does not by itself prove that a task runs in parallel.
Go posts often describe services, command-line tools, or infrastructure software, but the tag alone cannot identify a product domain. Compare Go-only posts with those that also mention cloud services, containers, or databases. Keep the source role wording visible because “Go engineer” can cover very different responsibilities.
Starting-salary history
Each dot is one post’s approximate USD estimate of its advertised minimum, linked to the source post. The chart shows up to the 120 newest comparable estimates, from Jul 2024 to Oct 2026; older months remain in the table, so a missing dot does not mean there were no posts. Monthly summaries appear only with at least 30 comparable estimates. Values are approximate annualized USD estimates of advertised minimums, not full offer ranges or employee pay. They use a common comparison basis, not historical exchange rates or inflation. The mix of companies, recorded role levels, and currencies can change month to month.
